The Job Purpose of this role is to provide support at all stages of the project life cycle, leading the Planning phase, coordinating with different internal and external stakeholders. He/she will also support procurement activities, and maintain effective tracking, to ensure that the projects are implemented successfully in line with the approved project parameters.



  • Scrutinizes all technical and project proposals including facility design basis, assumptions, strategies, etc., to ensure the technical robustness with emphasis on HSE matters and energy efficiency at the project approval stage.
  • Review Feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED documents or any studies, as necessary, to make comments, that supports the decision making for a project stage gate approval
  • Reviews project proposals, recommendations, issues and concerns occurring all through the project cycle from Pre-FEED until close-out of the project including technical, contracting strategy, Project management consultancy, key contract terms and awards, Bidders list for Consultants, Post completion analysis and lessons learnt for improvement for future projects execution. Make analysis and comments that guide help take appropriate decisions.
  • Reviews project charter and organization to facilitate the smooth running of various phases of project execution. Reviews the development of the Project Charter for the assigned projects which includes scope, budget, schedule, procedures, Project Execution strategy, statement of requirements, basis of design and project organization, etc. Front End Engineering Design (FEED): Review, investigate and studies the selection of a design option by assessing the preliminary design, process workflow, material selection, material balance, etc. make comments on the FEED documents developed.
  • Coordinates with the various project stakeholders of the Projects to ensure that they are successfully executed within approved budget, timelines and quality specifications and that they meet the required life cycle, capacity, quality and HSE standards and its compliance with UAE laws, policies, regulations and ADNOC guidelines. Reviews the monthly reports, monitors the progress, assess the areas of concerns and mitigation measures proposed and highlights to the higher management of any remarkable, recurring or concerning issues. Leads in promoting fairness and transparency in dealing with the project consultants, contractors and manufacturers, following approved systems and procedures. Contributes positively for all Facilities Layout Workshops and optimizes on consultants and EPC contractors proposals.
  • Maintains the Team’s Technical Support MIS and updates data to ensure that accurate data is available for reporting and planning purposes. Ensures that best practices and lesson learned information are collected and recorded in the MIS.
  • Supports developing the Departmental objectives related to Gas Business Unit performance and targets and supports appropriate strategies in order to translate the directorate missions into measurable Unit/Department activities.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably with Project Management skills.  
  • 8 years of relevant experience in Technical and Projects Engineering, with a strong focus on the Production Planning Phase in the Oil & Gas industry working with Supply and Demand Model.  
  • Good knowledge of interpreting Engineering and Project Management software outputs. Qlik Sense knowledge would be a plus.  
  • Good data collection, reporting and presentation skills.
