Senior Specialist, Energy Management

Lead ADNOC Digital energy management and analytics functions for the formulation of short/long terms optimization and strategies of ADNOC Group in energy efficiency, power and fuel consumption, emissions and environmental sustainability. The role also includes the management of the ADNOC Group digital command center (Panorama) ensuring provision of 24/7 monitoring, analysis and reporting of different corporate parameters of ADNOC Group companies like; fuel consumption, power consumption and energy efficiency performance using the integrated data platforms.



  • Lead Group wide analysis of energy to ensure optimum performance and delivery of commitments and plans, while providing necessary decision-making support for ADNOC Group Leadership.
  • Apply and develop energy modeling, reporting, energy efficiency, optimization, ISO 50001, energy consumption, energy markets, power transmission, energy policy and regulation, energy system analysis.
  • Lead the development of an integrated platform that captures and demonstrates the most relevant and critical energy data sources, to guide the operations teams to optimize the company’s revenue by improving energy efficiencies.
  • Develop decision recommendation from statistical analysis, data management, modeling using tools like Python/SQL, data visualization, machine learning.
  • Lead the resolution of energy management issues and optimizing/ monitoring conditions through data acquisition, analysis and applications to assure reliability and to achieve high efficiency.
  • Analyze energy management activities to ensure optimized operations.
  • Develop reports on energy efficiency, systems, integration and optimization.
  • Analyze consumption and production rates and determine energy efficiency.
  • Attend meetings to discuss energy management issues and updates with Business Line Directorates (Upstream, Downstream, Marketing Sales and Trading) and OPCO’s.
  • Analyze the performance of the energy efficiency against performance targets and analyze deviations.
  • Communicate energy efficiency status and deviations to management on regular basis.
  • Generate energy efficiency analysis for end users and ADNOC Energy Steering Committee.
  • Recommend improvements through the use of advanced analytical tools to improve production integrity, consistency and quality.
  • Lead the identification of opportunities for improvement in energy efficiency to improve revenues and reduce costs.
  • Lead the review of the data receipt and the major deviations highlighted, pertaining to the operating parameters, and develop decisions and suitable actions to be taken for their mitigation.
  • Lead the review of the energy data as per the planned energy efficiency targets, past and present including operating plant performance; oversee verification of deviation reports and develop recommendation for respective directorates, Group Companies’ operations teams for execution, whilst ensuring delivery of agreed actions.


Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Statistics, Analytics or equivalent.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

Minimum 8 years of experience in energy management in Oil & gas Industry or equivalent.
