Manager, Marketing, Supply & Trading Communications

Supervise, plan and execute ADNOC Group’s communication activities and strategies relating to the Marketing, Sales and Trading Communications in order to promote their activities and brand including increasing awareness and enhancing visibility and reputation.


Job Specific Accountabilities
•    Develop and implements consistent and realistic operational plans for the team in line with the Department objectives and strategy with Marketing, Sales and Trading Communications. 
•    Supervise the development of content for communications of the Marketing, Sales and Trading Directorate and related Group Companies/ corporate functions are integrated and aligned with the overarching Group Communication strategy.
•    Associate with the appropriate internal stakeholders to implement communication plans and activities in Marketing, Sales and Trading Communications Directorate and related Group Companies/ corporate functions in order to ensure alignment with their business objectives, strengthen awareness, reputational risk matters, business needs and promote the function’s brand.
•    Analyze, develop and deliver new functionalities and enhancements to the development and execution of consistent and achievable long and short-term business strategy and plans for the Business Lines Communications and Marketing, Sales &Trading Communications in line with the defined corporate objectives.
•    Supervise the development and maintenance of content for Marketing, Sales and Trading Communications. 
•    Supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the team to achieve the Department objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner.
•    Conduct researches including analyses of user behavior, and participates in the assessments in order to convey research insights to the relevant internal stakeholder (Business/ Corporate Functions/ Marketing, Sales and Trading Communications).
•    Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.   


Generic Accountabilities
•    Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
•    Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
•    Provide input for preparation of the Unit / Divisional budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver objectives. 
•    Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
•    Implement approved Unit / Divisional policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management 
•    Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Unit / Division in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
•    Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
•    Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
•    Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
•    Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.


•    Head, Marketing, Sales & Trading.
•    Any other Directorate / Unit, as required.
•    Government organizations and entities.
•    ADNOC Group Companies.


Minimum Qualification
•    Bachelor’s Degree in in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
•    10 years of experience, in progressive and senior-level roles in corporate communications within an oil and gas industry or in a large-scale organization with complex and multi-sectorial business operations, at least 6 years of which should have been in a supervisory position.
•    Strong knowledge of communication strategy development and implementation experience.
•    Hands on knowledge and experience of delivering all aspects of the marketing/communication mix particularly creating promotional literature, event management and use of various media tools.
•    Knowledge of ADNOC’s operations and various sectors, and ability to lead the delivery of tailored solutions in line with specific business requirements.
•    Strong knowledge of market and using behaviour analysis tools.
•    Strong written communications skills.
