Analyst, Business Planning & Performance

JOB PURPOSE:

 

Participate and support in setting KPIs along with the process owners. Coordinate, collate, monitor and report the achievement of Human Capital performance measurement frameworks – KPIs and goals in line with overall Company performance targets; analyse the performance of the Human Capital function against approved performance indicators and identify gaps & opportunities for improvement and develop reports to support the management in adapting appropriate performance driven approach and framework.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Human Capital Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Participate and support in setting KPIs along with the process owners. Coordinate and support Human Capital unit managers in cascading the overall approved Human Capital business performance targets and KPIs to their respective functional performance targets facilitating adherence to corporate requirements.
  • Coordinate the approval process and communication of agreed annual performance targets with the unit managers.
  • Develop tools and systems to support the monitoring and preparation of monthly planned progress phasing. Ensure timely collection of data monthly basis from the KPI owners. Make sure data and analysis is of high quality and accuracy, and work with a variety of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Analyse data and create compelling evidence-based and actionable data stories to share with stakeholders to drive decisions.
  • Participate and prepare report on gap analysis results to provide conclusive interpretation of Human Capital Directorate performance data and assist in implementation of business actions plan underlying the performance gaps. Provide other major highlights on operational and strategic issues / incidents.
  • Participate in the corporate target setting process to support the introduction of new KPIs and revisit / evaluate the existing KPIs’ targets based on business priorities, strategic objectives, current operation scenarios, historical trends, and benchmarking with industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the Corporate Performance Management System (CPM) to ensure efficiency of corporate reporting and timely availability of the information required for decision making.
  • Coordinate, compile data and prepare presentations to the senior management to trigger strategic discussion on the Human Capital’s overall performance ensuring accuracy and quality through management summaries and reports for Performance management and Workforce planning, including the main strategic objectives pertaining to Emiratization, Women Leadership, Headcount, integration, Retirement, Recruitment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 6 years of experience in Performance Management within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
